Moldavite was formed in a meteor collision about fifteen million years ago in the Moldau River Valley, in the Czech Republic. Because of this, moldavite is said to be the stone of those who feel that their spiritual roots or origins lie in the Sirius star system, the Pleiades, Orion or some other constellation or planet.
