A powerful stone formed by swiftly cooled moltne lava and there is no hiding with Obsidian. It is often carved into arrowheads for protection. Myth relates that the seven arrows of the Ancient lion goddess Sekmet were made of obsidian, she used them magically against wrongdoers. It encourages us to grow and supports us while we do so. It uncovers the true self, releasing emotional blockages and past traumas, energizing the soul's purpose and freeing us to evolve spiritually.
